Overview

The Pacific Islands Law Officers’ Network (PILON) is a network of senior law officers from 19 Pacific Island countries, including Australia and New Zealand, who work together to contribute to a safe and secure Pacific by advancing key law and justice issues. PILON’s current strategic plan is for years 2019 to 2021 and identifies corruption, cybercrime and sexual and gender based violence as its three strategic priorities.

The PILON Secretariat is the coordination mechanism for PILON and is responsible for progressing the PILON Work Plan and organising PILON events, including the annual meeting. The Secretariat has been based in Apia, Samoa since 2011.
