PacLII User Survey 2011

PILON Members may recall that an independent review of the Pacific Islands Legal Information Institute (PacLII) was conducted in May – June 2011.  The review was conducted by the Pacific Institute of Public Policy using an online user survey to obtain feedback for the evaluation.

A summary and analysis of the results of the user survey has now been published on the PacLII website. Analysis of the survey shows that PacLII is an extremely valuable resource that lawyers in Pacific Island Nations rely on. Every jurisdiction that PacLII serves was represented in the survey. 60.6% of survey respondents said PacLII was the most important resource for legal information for their work.

The report also contains a summary of comments received from the survey, and a response from PacLII to suggestions for improvement or new material.

The survey summary and analysis report can be accessed at http://www.paclii.org/paclii/2011-paclii-user-survey.pdf%EF%BB%BF%EF%BB%BF.
